The house is a central base for trips to Jutland and Funen. Discover the nature of the tidal range at Kammersluse, an active lock near Ribe. You can reach Ribe town center in 5 minutes by car. Make rounds through the old streets of Ribe with the night watchman (May to September), visit the Viking Center and the Wadden Sea Center, the Sct. Cahtarinae Church and the associated monastery and experience the cultural arrangements of Ribe. Nature experiences include the impressive Black Sun when you see huge flocks of starlings over the mudflats.
