The town has a cozy boat harbor and several places offer beautiful views of Funen. Take advantage of the beautiful hiking and biking trails that have been laid out in nature. Not far from Hejlsminde is the beautiful nature area Skamlingsbanken. The village Christiansfeld is known throughout the country for gingerbread, tiled stoves and spiced sausages. There is a lot to experience in Kolding and the surrounding area - be it a vacation for children, an active vacation or art and culture.
