The island of Als has a coastline of 165 km with beautiful beaches, where the light green beech forests extend down to the beach. And there are many beaches here, you will always find a quiet place all to yourself. Children can also splash in the gentle waves and romp on the beach here. Als' is known for its mild climate and as a peaceful oasis of Denmark. Here the special dialect of South Jutland is still spoken even among the children.
