Holiday home - Skovmose Strand

The cozy cottage is located in the popular recreational cottage area Skovmose on the island of Als. The island is located in the southern Little Belt between Jutland and Funen and close to the border with Germany. Skovmose is very peaceful and with its many green areas also child friendly. There are stores nearby and it is only 500 m to the wide sandy beach. There are small dunes and a jetty. The inn Skovby Kro is particularly cozy and is located about 1.5 km away, it serves good meals. In Sønderborg, 16 km away, you can experience culture and do good shopping. You can walk along the promenade by the harbor or through the pedestrian zone. Also visit the castle, it houses a museum. History buffs can check out Dybbøl Mølle and Skanserne, which is a beautiful area by the way. In the north is Nordborg Castle and Danfoss with Universe, a technical experiment museum. On Nordals there is archaeology to discover, for example a copy of the Hjortspring boat. Als is a true paradise with large forests, long beaches and high cliffs next to deep fjords. Here you have everything you need to relax or for an active vacation.
