At the small harbor Rørvig, another vacation pearl, there is a fish smokehouse and from here the ferry goes to Hundested, from where you can quickly reach Copenhagen. On the glacial headland of Odsherred you will feel like you are in a geopark. On it you will find along the Tumulus Road, with the barrows and burial mounds, witnesses from the Stone and Bronze Ages, the Hempel Glass Museum and in the Odsherred Museum the copy of the sun chariot found in the Trundholm Mose bog. You will also see Næsholm Borg Castle, which stands on a small island in Lake Nygård Sø between Højby and Nykøbing Sj. On Odsherred there is also a nature school that lets you catch seafood, organizes butterfly safaris and expeditions into the forest, and invites you to troll and fox excursions.
