The outdoor area with partial views of the Tuscan countryside and the sea is equipped with barbecue and table tennis. The area is ideal not only for sunbathing on the beaches, but also for walks on oil and wine roads leading to Lake Massaciuccoli (23 km, bird-watching) and the ruins of ancient Roman thermal baths. The Apuan Alps (about 49 km) are suitable for climbing, but at Colonnata you can also enjoy the culinary delicacy ?Lardo di Colonnata? (bacon). The cave ? Grotta del Vento? promises an interesting adventure: here you can go 90 meters deep. Art lovers can visit the cities of Lucca (20 km) and Pisa (30 km) with its famous Piazza dei Miracoli. Ferries depart from Viareggio to the Cinque Terre. The last 100 of the access road are not asphalted.
